Small preview imageATI will as you most likely know follow up today’s X1800 series with a new X1900 based on the R580 core, which among others will have more pixel pipelines. Any exact specifications from asn ’t arrived from any officials until now. Sapphire who are ATI’s oldest and closest partner has namely published specifications for X1900XTX, X1900XT and X1900XT CrossFire at their homepage. If you haven’t noticed it before it might be worth mentioning that only X1900XT will be able to run in CrossFire at the moment. Something that has debated is whether X1900 will have 48 pixel pipelines or just 48 pixel processorer, but if we are to believe Sapphire it is the first that is correct.
