Seasonic is a leading power supply manufacturer and it has products both under its own brand and restickered with the logos of other companies. The power supply manufacturer is working hard to achieve the most sought-after of all brandings, 80 PLUS Gold. To achieve this the power supply has to offer at least 87 percent efficiency at 20 percent load and 90 percent efficiency at 50 percent load. Seasonic’s latest X series does just that and at the same time outputs up to 750W.
Seasonic is not expected to announce its X series until Computex (June 2-6), but it will first appear in the second half sporting 120mm fan for cooling and modular design.
Seasonic makes among others Corsair’s power supplies so we wouldn’t be surprised if Corsair would announce something similar around the same time.
