Wi-Fi and wireless technologies are hotter than ever and despite that Wi-Fi has already established itself a new survey states that sales of Wi-Fi chipsets will triple from 2005 until 2009. From 140 million circuits sold in 2005 to 430 million sold during 2009. This despite that the wired technologies increase its speed and interest among the consumers. The new stream of wireless components will attract new customers for Wi-Fi circuits. Where we among others see wireless game consoles, mobile phones, but also stationary products such as printers and such. Hopefully this means that the Wi-Fi networks will become more and bigger.
