XFX has great plans for AMD’s Eyefinity6 platform with the previously pictured 5970 Black Edition Limited. Those who doesn’t have a  minor fortune to spar and still want to enjoy lots of desktop space, a tough combo, can always turn to the second card XFX has in the works, Radeon HD 5870 with Eyefinity6. We have managed to grab some high resolution pictures of the card that will be released shortly.

XFX RADEON HD 5870 Eyefinity6 will sport six mini-DisplayPort outputs and resolutions up to 7680×3200 pixels (6 x 2560×1600).

To handle that amount of pixels XFX has doubled the memory to 2GB GDDR5 RAM and just like the plain Radeon HD 5870 the memory operates at 4800MHz. The Cypress GPU operates at the same clock frequency as the AMD reference card, 850MHz.

Unlike the extreme Radeon HD 5970 EF6 Black Edition Limited XFX seems to be happy with AMD’s reference cooler and PCB. Tomorrow we expect to see benchmarks and other information on Eyefinity6, but as we already revealed the prices look to land south of $500, which will probably be the case with XFX Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6.
