OCZ-owned Hypersonic PC has announced a highly mobile, yet powerful laptop, Avenger is a 12″ notebook packing Intel’s latest 45nm Core 2 processor, up to 4GB DDR2-667 RAM, 320GB harddrive (SSD optional), and Intel GM965 with the integrated X3100 graphics circuit. The graphics circuit is a bit of a disapointment since this is suppose to be a performance laptop, but the processor may compensate a bit for that. Available processor models ranges from Core 2 Duo T8100 (2.1GHz, 3MB L2 cache) up to Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 (2.5GHz, 6MB L2 cache).

“We listen closely to our customers, and it became clear that many of our customers wanted a notebook that offers the style and performance that Hypersonic is known for but was more portable,” commented Alessandro Gilligan, Systems Manager, Hypersonic PC. “The new Avenger 12 inch notebook is our smallest and lightest notebook to date, and offers a combination of Intel Core 2 performance in a surprisingly small and stylish form factor so consumers don’t have to make sacrifices on when they are on the go.”

The 12.1″ display sports a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and a glossy finish. Additional features include wireless 802.11 a/g/n networking, Bluetooth 2.0, HD audio, and five different colors. Prices start at $1,239. You can customize your own Avenger AG2 over at Hypersonic PC’s website.
