OCZ launched a new series of memory modules called FlexXLC at the end of November, 2006. The new series was the first commercial series of memories that sported both air and water cooling. OCZ has now announced that it has launched a new memory kit in the same series, OCZ PC2-6400 FlexXLC. Just as the other modules of the same series these are for enthusiasts, but OCZ claims this to be more of a mainstream version. The modules are specified at 800MHz with 4-4-4-15 latencies. OCZ will only be selling these modules in 2GB kit (2x1GB), alas the price is yet to be announced, but it will be considerably lower than the flagship of the same series (PC-9200 FlexXLC costs ~$490).
