OCZ is one of the best known memory manufacturers of today and except from its memory modules it’s had a successful launch of a series of enthusiast power supplies. Now it’s time for OCZ to broaden its assortment even further and according to The Inquirer the memory manufacturer will soon launch its first graphics card. OCZ has namely teamed up with NVIDIA and is planning to launch a GeForce 8800 graphics card under the OCZ brand. That it chose NVIDIA is hardly surprising considering the situation on the graphics card market today, but unfortunately it seems that the first cards from OCZ will use NVIDIA’s reference design. We’re looking forward to next year when the manufacturers is expected to launch more unique cards with what we hope is an enthusiast touch.
