OCZ has decided to release its SPD-Z utility to the public. The program has gone through internal beta testing and is now available for download to the public. SPD-Z is a tool that let you flash and reprogram your modules and fine-tune the most delicate settings. The utility is all GUI and no command lines needed and, of course, this only works with OCZ modules. SPD contains the settings for, e.g., frequency and timings and by flashing your modules with a new SPD you can gain both performance and stability, best case scenario. SPDs will become available in OCZ’ forum as time passes and requests are made, until then you can download the utility here.
