OCZ has broadened its assortment of power supplies and after the recent launch of the new ModXStream series, OCZ has now launched the StealthXStream series. This new power supply series is designed for the budget users that are looking for a simple yet quiet power supply. OCZ has removed the LEDs and other flashy features and instead built an efficient and silent power supply, and we do believe there are people looking for such a power supply. The top model of the StealthXStream series has an output at 600W and uses a single 120mm fan for cooling.
“With a sustained output of 600W and four +12V rails to provide uniform distribution of power, the StealthXStream is well-suited for and driving today’s higher end systems. The rock solid StealthXStream is built to provide sufficient output to power dual GPU and CPU platforms, complete with two PCI-Express cables and a 4/8 CPU auxiliary connector which are wrapped in a flexible mesh promoting a tidy environment inside the case.”
OCZ hasn’t supplied any prices but you can count on the new StealthXStream power supply being slightly cheaper than the GamerXStream series.
