OCZ has announced its second CPU cooler for the year and its called Vanquisher. Just like the first model it’s a tower cooler using heatpipe technology for moving the heat away from the copper base up to the aluminum fins where the heat will be removed by the low-speed 92mm fan. The fan has been rubber connectors to reduce vibrations and together with the silent fan it will be an overall quiet cooler. OCZ says Vanquisher is capable of removing up to 200W of heat, and is compatible with both the AMD 754/939/AM2 and Intel 775 socket designs. It comes with an easy clip-on installation, no backplate needed here.

OCZ Vindicator, the first CPU cooler by OCZ, was strikingly similar to the Scythe Ninja and the Vanquisher does suffer from a similar issue. The design is very mush alike the one of Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, but on the other hand the AC Freezer Pro is a popular cooler and has been proven to work well with the processor of today.
