OCZ Technology is one of the best known companies among computer enthusiasts and has made its name by making high performance modules and power supplys. At DailyTech they’ve taken a chat with OCZ VP Ryan Peterson to find out how OCZ is doing and what it is planning for the future. They talk about DDR2 memory which is a market that will grow a lot with AMD’s launch of Socket AM2. To the queation of how much RAM an enthusiast might need at the end of 2006 Ryan Peterson replied that enthusiasts will most likely use about 4GB while the real “hardcore” users will use all the way up to 8GB. We will just have to wait and see but it really seems that the memory market will be a hot one this year.
