OPPO V5 is one out of many new portable media players and like so many other the focus is on the design, while the technical information is surprisingly absent here. OPPO V5 comes with a very clean and stylish design and the overall look is very minimalistic. The player is the same size as a credit card and even if it’s not as thin as one, it’s not a thick player either as it has a depth of a mere 11mm. The 16:9 display more or less makes up the entire front. If the frame around the 3″ display had been a little thinner it would’ve been very similar to the first “mockups” of Apple’s rumored iPod video player.
Considering the design, OPPO V5 looks like a very interesting player, but we will hold the judgments until more technical information appears.
