OSX tested on x86

0

OSX will be launched for the x86-architecture at the same time as Apple will launch its new Intel-based Macs in the middle of next year. This hasn’t stopped zdnet from already testing OSX on a Toshiba laptop. However it will not be possible to run OSX on just any x86-computer in the future, but it will be limited to Apple’s Macs. Anyway, they have over at zdnet already installed and played around with OSX on the Intel platform and the impression is verall good. OSX is a very mature operating system already today, even though there are some opbvious limitations such as the applications and their performance.
