Last year we got a chance to visit Intel’s lab in Stockholm and play around with the soon-to-be-launched Kentsfield processor. This year we were invited back, but this time it wouldn’t just be three of us from NordicHardware. Pretty much the entire elite of Nordic overclockers would be there and we would alll have access to the now launched Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 based on the Penryn architecture. Earlier this month we posted some teasing news about the performance of Intel’s new Core 2 Extreme QX9650 and while we do have a full review of it coming up, we present you with this article/diary of what happened up in Stockholm.

“After trying to write the first page of this article six, seven or perhaps even eight times, I came to the conclusion that maybe it’s just best to say it like it is. Right now I’m traveling home after having experienced a weekend that will forever be remembered as one of the most exciting events of my life.”
