Palit GeForce GTX260 Sonic 216SP is based on the latest version of NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 260 graphics circuit, made with “new” 55nm technology. The 216 shader processors available in the case have been shrunk and now consume less power and produce less heat. Palit has decided to use a beefy cooler with two large fans to keep the card cool, even when overclocked, which is precisely what it is. The Sonic suffix namely means that the card comes overclocked from factory, about 9% for better performance than previous versions of GeForce GTX 260.
