Philips 200WP7 seems to be another of those 20″ LCD monitors with widescreen panel that will arrive this year. Widescreen panels for LCD monitors really seem to get their big breakthrough in 2006 and from being something you could almost only find among LCD monitors at 23″ or more widescreen panels have found their way to the smaller segment. Philips 200WP7 has not been officially launched yet but at Engadget they’ve published some information and pictures of the monitor through FCC’s database (Federal Communications Commission). The monitor has a foot similar to the one we’ve seen with Dell’s new models and the 20″ panel sports a 1680x1050px resolution and a “fast response time”. 200WP7 comes with both VGA and DVI inputs and a USB hub.
There is no information regarding the availability or the price, but considering all those 20″ widescreen monitors we’ve seen lately we should be able to expect a competitive price.
