Storage maker PhotoFast has launched a new SATA-to-USB3.0 adapter that allows users to connect their SATA storage devices with the new external inteface SuperSpeed USB 3.0.
PhotoFast GBox mini supports both 2.5″ and 3.5″ devices and of course both HDD and SSD technology. The company ships the new adapter with DriveClone Pro 7 and the price will be around $25. So far GBox mini is only available in Japan, but should spread to the rest of the world soon.
The performance of the unit is “limited” to 128MB/s read speed and 95MB/s write speed.
