When Ageia released its PhysX card it was only released using the older PCI interface. Totally understandable considering the fact that a lot of users till this day still use PCI. Now however a user over at Xtremesystems got hold of some information posted on HardOCP, that later was removed from the site. The information concerned Ageis PhysX card and told us that Ageis are about to release a PCI-E version of the card. Just as the last time Ageis released its older PhysX card, the OEM market will get hold of it first, but eventually it will come to us consumers as well. Tests using Ageis own benchmarking program called RealityMark, made by the users of the same page, indicates that the older PCI interface could be a bottleneck, so we might see a performance increase in these new cards.
