Xbox 360 has a great advantage over Sony and Nintendo’s next geneation video game consoles, Microsoft has had its Xbox 360 on the market for almost eight months now. A head start is often hard to catch up with and even if Microsoft looks to be doing fairly well things are from perfect. Information now states that the console sales in the USA was not lead by Microsoft’s new video game console but by Sony’s less advanced PlayStation 2. Sony has sold more units in six of the seven months that Xbox 360 has been around and even if there is a great difference in price and that Microsoft has had problems with the availability it clearly shows that Sony will not be completely dependent on PlayStation 3. Worth mentioning is that Sony has sold over 100 million PS2 consoles worldwide, very impressive.
