PlayStation 3 a jack of all trades, a master of none

There are many sayings describing when a person has aimed too high just to fall back on the ground failing. Probably because it is such a common thing to happen. Sony and PlayStation 3 has been accused by BusinessWeek to do the very same as they reflect over the console’s broad multimedia features. PS3 will be able to play games, music, surf the web, play next generation DVD format and even more. To many this is truly a universal solution but the question is if this will harm Sony’s game sales as the video game market is all about the games when it comes to making profit. As a comparison with the mobile gaming market Sony PSP has become very popular because of its many features, while the game sales have been pretty poor.
