Playstation 3 capable of running at 120fps?

Playstation 3 still has far to go before it will be launched and that Sony Computer Entertainment and its president Ken Kutaragi makes one controversial statement after another to keep the interest up for their console is getting pretty common, especially as Xbox 360 will be launched very soon. This time Kutaragi has stated that Playstation 3 will be able to run games at 120 fps. This should be considered just one big PR-hype as a majority of today’s console games run at 25 or 30fps, and in some cases 60fps, but according to Kutaragi this is a way for them to be able to guarantee the life span as newer TVs might be able to show the higher framerate with Playstation 3.
