Playstation 3 has had an unexpectedly slow start with consoles staying on the shelves in North America, while unsatisfied owners have been sharing their opinions one way or another. New information tells of the sales in Japan and it does not look well for Playstation 3. Last week Sony sold a little more than a quarter of what Nintendo sold (Wiis), 93,708 vs. 25,531. The reason is, still, quite obvious when you study the sales charts and locate the best selling PS3 games at the 40th (!) overall best selling game. On the other hand, Sony doesn’t have to be afraid of dropping to third place as Xbox 360 only sold 9,035 units.
