Once again rumors of a price cut with the PlayStation 3 has started circulating, and once again it has been denied by the company. It started by some sites claiming that Sony Computer Entertainment would cut the PS3 price with $100 right after E3, July 11-13. This has now been officially denied by Sony President Ryoji Chubachi saying that there are no plans to cut the price of PlayStation 3. Analysts still believe that Sony will cut prices before the end of the year, while Sony remains firm and denies any such thing. PlayStation 3 has been the losing console of the next-gen console battle as sales have been rather disappointing, even in its native country of Japan, where Nintendo has climbed back on top after a slow decade.
