PlayStation 3 set a new sales record in the UK when it arrived two weeks ago. 165,000 consoles was sold during the first two days, but during the second week the sales have gone down by 82%, compared to the first week. The two top games, Motorstorm and Resistance: Fall of Man, went down by over 60%. This is the first time Sony has experienced this and exactly why this has happened can of course be discussed; the high price and the lack of high quality games are perhaps the two most obvious candidates. At the same time figures published by both Bloomberg and Enterbrain says that Wii is continuing to sell twice as good as PS3 in Japan, which is an improvement though. Xbox 360 continues to do very poorly in the east.
