Playstation 3 has a large hype to live up to and the success of Playstation 2 has hardly made it any easier. Despite the fact the next generation of video game consoles has been available for over a year now, in the form of Xbox 360, Playstation 2 has continued to dominate. A lot thanks to the enormous amount of game there are and if we look back, the backwards compatibility with Playstation was a decisive factor for it to become so popular. The future dominance on the video game market is a topic one could debate longer than time itself from what it seems.
