Plextor E-IDE PX-760A burns DVD+R at 18x

Plextor E-IDE PX-760A is the first burner on the market that can burn 16x DVD-R and DVD+R media at 18x speed. 16x has for long been considered the upper limit for the DVD format, but it turned out you could go further. It has taken quite a while though, but now you are able to burn your DVDR discs at 18x speed and for those who are burning dual layer discs Plextor has increased the speed to 10x (DVD+R DL). E-IDE PX-760A is the first model of Plextor’s 760 series that will be completed by a SATA model (PX-760SA) and an external USB model (PX-760UF). PX-760A and PX-760UF will be launched at the end of April and will cost about 119 USD.
