Memory card and graphics card manufacturer PNY has been active on the flash market for some time now and it seems that the time has come for it to join the rest and take the next step. It has namely announced that it will launch a new series of Solid State Drives during Computex in Taiwan. SSD is hotter than ever, and both harddrive and memory manufacturers are trying to grab a share of the fast emerging market. As expected, PNY will use NAND Flash in its SSD devices, but there isn’t much more than that to tell at the moment. The official launch will happen at Computex on June 5 and you can count on a whole bunch of SSD news during the event, not just from PNY.
