AMD is expected to launch its new mobile processor Turion 64 X2 tomorrow, May 17, and it will be the first time we see a mobile processor by AMD with dual cores. Now new information has surfaced that says that it will take a few weeks before the first laptops with Turion 64 X2 processors under the hood actually arrive. Ten different laptop manufacturers will display Turion 64 X2 systems at Computex Taipei 2006 starting June 6. Among the ten we see big names such as ASUS, Gigabyte, HP, Acer and BenQ. We are clearly looking forward to seeing the first tests with Turion 64 X2 as it seems system builders are happy with what they’ve seen.
