Point of View has put its engineering team on developing a TGT series of graphics cards based on NVIDIA’s circuits. POV compares its TGT team to car tuners like AMG and has now launch a bunch of models with hefty overclocks from factory.
Point of View TGT divides the cards into two classes, TGT Charged and TGT Ultra Charged. Three different NVIDIA graphics cards have been given the TGT treatment and beside the new GeForce GTX 460 series, GeForce GTX 470 and GeForce GTX 480 have been tweaked.
Model | GPU and memory | TGT model | Clock frequencies |
TGT-460-A2-768-C | GTX460-768MB | Charged | 780/3800 MHz |
TGT-460-A2-768-UC | GTX460-768MB | Ultra Charged | 820/4000 MHz |
TGT-460-A2-1024-C | GTX460-1024MB | Charged | 780/3800 MHz |
TGT-460-A2-1024-UC | GTX460-1024MB | Ultra Charged | 820/4000 MHz |
TGT-470-A1-1280-C | GTX470-1280MB | Charged | 650/3500 MHz |
TGT-470-A1-1280-UC | GTX470-1280MB | Ultra Charged | 680/3500 MHz |
TGT-480-A1-1536-C | GTX480-1536MB | Charged | 730/3800 MHz |
TGT-480-A1-1536-UC | GTX480-1536MB | Ultra Charged | 760/3800 MHz |
Also the entry models of the Charged series has been overclocked, while the Ultra Charged models takes it even further. The perhaps most impressive is GeForce GTX 460 Ultra Charged with a GPU clock frequency of 820 MHz, compared to the stock frequency of 675 MHz. The GDDR5 memory has been tweaked a bit too, from 3600 MHz to 4000 MHz.
All cards are carefully hand selected and qualified with a comprehensive burn-in test in our European testing center of TGT to ensure highest quality and stability even beyond the OC clock settings for maximized speed and performance. Carefully optimized BIOS tuning and proprietary hardware design (POV/TGT GTX 460) result in an amazing up to 85% over-clocking efficiency. Of course all of these cards are also backed a 3 years warranty from POINT OF VIEW.
Point of View has launched eight new overclocked TGT models, but also water cooled solutions are in development. We will return when more information is available on those.
