Intel is expected to launch its mobile Core 2 Duo processor, code-named Merom, in August and now some interesting prices for these even more interesting processors have surfaced. At DigiTimes they’ve published prices for three different Merom model, T7600 (2.33GHz), T7400 (2.16GHz) and T7200 (2.0GHz).

The prices seems very competitive and the T7400 and T7200 models are priced very close to Intel’s current Yonah models at the same speeds.
Whether this will affect the sales of Yonah, Core Duo, remains to be seen but it really seems Intel will go for a real “bang for the buck” pricing with its mobile Core processors.
