PSP is Sony’s “small” portable gaming console which also supports other interesting features such as the possibility to watch movies and play music. Until now you have been forced to use the builtin monitor, which is the whole idea with a portable gaming console, but if you want to connect your PSP with e.g. your TV or stereo this hasn’t been possible as there simply are no outputs for this.
During the electronics fair in Hong Kong a new adapter for PSP was presented that makes this possible and this is without having to modify your PSP in any way.
You simply screw the adaptor on top pf the monitor and like a scanner it scans your screen and sends the signals to your TV, either via Composite or S-video. while the sound is sent through stereo plugs. So if you want to connect your PSP to a stereo this should work just as good. The price for unit at Lik-Sang is $119, plus shipping from Hong Kong.
