One of the hotter subjects the last copuple of days has been a form that has appeared on the web. The form has been designed as a Q&A (Questions and Answers) and has been sent out internally by Sony before E3. The document contains over 40 questions and answers covering everything from Sony’s view on its gaming console to what specifications and features PS3 will have. Among others the form is very clear on that PS3 should be considered a computer system and not just a video game console. This is one of the reasons it has chosen to launch two versions with different specifications, simply because it does the same with regular computers.
We also get it in printed words that the 60GB version of PS3 is the only one sporting an HDMI output, but that also the 20GB model will supoprt playback of high-res Blu-ray movies. PlayStation Portable will be connectable to the console as an external/portable display where you can enjoy PS3 material with your PSP console.
The level of noise is also revealed to be 29dB, which is the same as the current PlayStation 2 Slim.
The document contains loads of interesting questions and espceially answers, which explains and answers many of the wonderings we’ve had about Sony’s console. Whether this document is acually geuine or not is hard to tell but if it would turn out to be false, someone has put a lot of work into it.
