Sapphire is the company partner ATI has and it therefore comes as no surprise that it’s Sapphire that presents the first solutions to what could become Quad-CrossFire. According to DailyTech, Sapphire is namely working on a card with two X1950Pro circuits, which then in turn can be paired with another Godfather card, which is what the card is called (any connection to Quadfather is unknown to us, but it doesn’t feel that far off) to create a Quad-CrossFire system. There are no exact specifications for the card, but it is apparently ready to be displayed at CES in Las Vegas in January, with, among others, full support for Havok’s physics engine.
