NVIDIA has since the launch of Fermi been showing off the many uses there are for graphics circuits. During the GPU Technology Conference it showed some different applications, whereof one was realtime rendering of a Porsche Panamera with realistic light and shadow effects.
The system that was used to show this graphically intense deamon built on NVIDIA’s Quadro flagship, NVIDIA Quadro 6000 sporting a Fermi GPU and 6GB GDDR5 memory working with software from RTT and PQ Labs. The software will be used by image designers that wants to preview their creations and test changes in realtime while rendering.
