Many were expecting AMD/ATI to present its new R6xx series during CeBIT 2007, even the manufacturer self to be completely honest. Well that didn’t happen and we’re still longing for the first official information about the graphics circuit from AMD. We’ve seen a number of pictures of R600 graphics cards, but it’s mainly been of the massive OEM model with a, the least to say, over-dimensioned cooler. PCPOP has now published a whole series of pictures that not only show off the retail version of R600, but also the slower models based on the RV630 and RV610. The two latter have been pictured without coolers and reveal the design and layout of the boards.
The pictures have been taken during CeBIT, but whether they can be revealed or not is completely different matter. You can find the entire image gallery at PCPOP’s website and below are some samples.
