Radeon HD 3870X2 was expected to launch at the end of the month, but it seems AMD/ATI has moved up the date. VR-Zone reports that AMD has contacted its partners and moved up the date to the 23rd when the Radeon HD 3600 and 3400 series are set to arrive. Radeon HD 3870X2 has a MSRP of $449 USD, while the others are in the sub-$100 range. Performance of the 3600 and 3400 cards are on average 5% better than the predecessors, while the Radeon HD 3870X2 is expected to sport performance close to that of two Radeon HD 3870 in CrossFire.
