The launch date of the Radeon HD 4800 series is still to be determined, but it won’t be for another week or so, at least. We’ve seen more than a few leaked 3DMark Vantage results, but now the first review has appeared over at XtremeSystems. A user has gotten his hands on a VisionTek 4850 and has published some detailed pictures and benchmarks with the card. From what we can tell, the hit when AA/AF comes into play is substantially smaller than it was with Radeon HD 3850, as promised by AMD, but also that the card seems to pack a lot of overclocking potential. We just need better tools for it. You may need to do some voltmodding before you start hitting it with more exotic cooling, but there’s a thread for that too over at XS;
