Storage maker Raidon has launched the HyBrid RunneR series of storage units, which is different from most other available today. Raidon has made room for both SSD and a mechanical harddrive in the same unit to get the best of both worlds.
Raidon HyBrid RunneR iH1010 and iH2420 comes as empty cases where the former uses a 5.25″ format and houses a regular 3.5″ harddrive and a 2.5″ SSD, while the iH2420 has the more slim 3.5″ format and room for two 2.5″ drives. Both storage units are connected through the SATA interface and installed in the expansion slots of the case.
HyBrid RunneR efficiently gives the benefits from the speed performance of SSD and cost-effectively uses the capacity of HDD for data backup and data storage without any possible wastes.
Raidon says that you can exchange the SSD in HyBrid RunneR since it makes a complete backup of all data, while contributing extra storage space.
