A computer needs power to work, which everyone knows, although it’s easy to assume that any power supply will work just fine.
Alas the truth is that is a bit more complicated and within a near future we will be putting a higher and higher load on the PSU. Processorers with dual cores and dual graphics cards (SLI) are only a few of many technologies that puts high demands on the power supply.

Hiper Type-R 480W makes a nice impression on first sight and its design fits today’s computers well with a darkred mirror surface. The question is though if Hiper Type-R 480W will pass a round in the testlab.
