Revoltec Aluguard is a 3.5″ harddrive enclosure made from solid aluminum. The enclosure has an internal mounting frame for shock-proofing the harddrive, and to reduce noise and improve the cooling of the harddrive. The enclosure is available in two flavors, one with SATA II (3.0 Gbps) support and one with PATA support. The first has both USB 2.0 and eSATA connectors, while the PATA version only has USB 2.0 connectivity. Revoltec has continued with its black designs and blue activity LEDs, which looks rather sleek and discrete in the right setting. The enclosures will cost €39.90 for the PATA version and €49.90 for the SATA version.
