AMD recently launched the latest version of its graphics demo Ruby and this time its for the Radeon HD 2000 family, which means DirectX 10 effects. Not surprisingly, you need Windows Vista and a Radeon HD 2000 graphics card, which currently means Radeon HD 2900 XT. Ruby: Whiteout uses several advanced graphical effects which will really show the power of the new graphics architecture and specifically its DirectX 10 support. This is what AMD has to say about its new graphics demo:

Those who are not in possession of a Radeon HD 2900XT graphics card or Windows Vista can enjoy the same effects by downloading an HD video (720p) from AMD’s website.
