Samsung is a leading manufacturer of LCD-TVs and it recently unveiled a whole bunch of new models for 2009. They all shared one common feature, a feature most TV manufacturers are striding toward, slimmer and slimmer TVs. Flatscreen TVs are nowadays, thinscreen TVs and many are wondering how they can house so much electronics inside such a small case. Samsung has now done its best to answer that by dissecting some of its latest LED-based TVs and shown how these are built.

Samsung are showing its dissected TVs at Time Warner Center but those who can’t go there can look at the pictures Dvice has posted.

It’s pretty clear that the circuit board needs the most space inside a modern flatscreen TV sporting side-mounted LED lighting that enables truly thin TVs.
