Samsung has unveiled several new products during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona over the last few days and one of the more interesting additions is the mobile phone OmniaHD. As the name implies, Samsung’s new phone focuses on High Definition material and the phone itself can not only play HD videos, it is also the first one to support 720p video recording. The 8 Megapixel camera can also record high-quality video, something that goes well with the mighty 3.7″ AMOLED display.

Samsung OmniaHD uses the S60 platform and over at Engadget they have taken a closer look at the TouchWiz navigation system that completely relies on the large touchscreen. OmniaHD looks to become a nice addition to the growing amount of touchscreen phones and we look forward to seeing more of this HD-capable mobile.
