SanDisk is one of the biggest flash memory manufacturers in the world and it seems that it is willing to protect that position by any means necessary. SanDisk has namely filed two suits and one International Trade Commission action against 25 different companies. SanDisk claims that these companies have infringed on up to seven different patents owned by SanDisk, but it hasn’t specified which patents. Among the 25 companies we recognize names like Apacer, Kingston, PNY, A-Data and Verbatim. Engadget has a list of the affected companies and we will try to keep you updated on the progress of the law suits.
