Sapphire has designed a new graphics card model based on the AMD’s graphics processor ATI Radeon HD 4670. Since the Radeon HD 4600 series uses the RV730XT graphics circuit there is excellent support for high definition video, much like the support with the more expensive and hotter Radeon HD 4800 series. This makes Radeon HD 4670 a very interesting alternative for for HTPC systems that doesn’t require the same 3D performance as a gaming rig. More power will only generate more hear and consume unnecessary power.

Sapphire has considered that and with its Radeon HD 4670 Ultimate it has designed a completely silent graphics card using a passive cooler that should slide perfectly into most HTPCs.

The intended market becomes even clearer when you see the outputs, two digital outputs (HDMI/DVI-D) are sharing the bracket with a classic D-Sub (VGA) connector.

At Donanimhaber.com they’ve published a pictures of the card, some seen above. The price should be around $80.
