Scythe has, beside the sharp name (pardon the bad pun), a faithful fan base it has built from designing solid and well performing coolers. The focus has always been on making CPU coolers but it also makes coolers for graphics cards, harddrives and more. Like many other cooling manufacturers, Scythe has been trying to get into the case market, but it is still lacking a real case. Back in November of last year we first heard of Scythe’s coming case Fenriswolf.
Even if Scythe has been careful not to release too much information about its coming case, but it has purposely leaked bits and pieces, including a picture of the actual case.
Judging from the picture, Fenriswolf (name comes from the Nordic mythology) is a miditower that has been designed together with acknowledged German case modder Benjamin Franz, which should hopefully result in a good case.
Except from a sleek exterior we know that it will be shipped with four harddrive stabilizers and that the price will be around $100. The launch is slated for the first quarter.
