Seagate steps out

Seagate has now engaged its campaign on the external hardrive market and the flagship is its Seagate 400GB Pushbutton Backup External Hard Drive. With a storage capacity at 400GB, USB2.0/Firewire-interface and a userfriendly backup system this look like a quite promising product. At TrustedReviews they’ve taken a closer look at this beast of a harddrive.

 

This isn’t a very extensive test but some specfics are concluded, among others, that the transfer speed coul be better. But at the same time it’s surprising that Seagate’s external 400GB harddrive is cheaper than the internal equivalent, which is a new thing.
