Team Finland consisting of SF3D and Sampsa was invited by AMD to com and test the coming Phenom II processor. They got five Phenom II processors with different steppings (ES and newer) that they could overclock, the results they achieved are very good even though they had limited time. The results truly confirms the overclocking potential of AMD’s new processors, as many questioned AMD’s overclock when it reached over 6GHz during a recent presentation.

A very interesting factor here is that none of the processors had any kind of coldbug. All chips could do 6,1 GHz (confirmed by CPU-Z). They managed to run Crysis CPU test in two loops and 3DMark06 and 05. No numbers can be revealed at this time since they are under NDA, but will become available when Phenom launches. We congratulate Team Finland for a much impressive overclock and will round off with some pictures and a video from the event.
