Silverstone has been a forerunner among power supply makers and we have now acquired some new information on its coming flagship of the enthusiast series Strider. Silverstone already has a 1200W model in the Strider series but the next model will take things up a notch. Silverstone ST1500 will soon arrive and offer some pleasant functions like modular cables, even the ATX connector, and a large and quiet 135mm fan, but the rated power is what really impress.
Silverstone ST1500 has a rated output of 1500W and eight 12V rails at 25A each, which should be more than enough even for the most demanding users.
The power supply is 80Plus Silver certified and comes with four 8-pin PCIe power connectors and eight PCIe 6-pin connectors, enabling users to install a whole armada of graphics cards in a single computer. With dual EPS 8-pins power connectors there is also support for servers with up to four processors.
The power supply will cost close to $400 when it appears in stores at the start of June.
