SLI – AMD vs. Intel

SLI has without a doubt become a huge success for NVIDIA, and if nothing else it can brag about offering the most powerful graphic system on the market. A few months ago nVidia launched its nForce4 SLI-chipset for Intel’s platform but since then we haven’t seen much of it. Instead we’ve heard rumours about poor performance and complaints about that no actual mainboards have arrived in stores. Now it seems the pieces are falling into place though. Mainboards are coming and according to GamePC that has published a comparison between nVidia’s two SLI-chipset for AMD and Intel the performance seems to be there. Even if AMD is the most efficient gaming platform Intel is closing in with the help of nVidia’s nForce 4 SLI Intel Edition.
